| MANDATORY Band
Camp starts August 9, 2010. It is a lot of fun and a wonderful
opportunity to reconnect with old friends and make new ones. Half
of the time is spent learning drill and the other half is spent
learning the music. Band Camp ends with the traditional "last
day of band camp pot luck dinner" for the marching band members
and their families. Things that
Need to be Turned In on the First Day of Band Camp:
- Completed Contribution Form and donation check
- Completed Fundraising/Parent Volunteer Forms
- Completed and Signed Volunteer Activities Participation Form
- Completed eScrip, VONS, membership form – not required, but GREATLY appreciated! We can transfer accounts for you –let us know!
- Shoe/Glove Order and payment, not necessary if you are a returning band member and your shoes still fit and you still have gloves in good condition!
- T-Shirt Order and payment, optional
- Student Transportation Form – District form that must be completed and submitted with support documents if parent wishes to drive students in personal or District vehicles. We really need Approved parent drivers!

Checklist for Band Camp:
- Learn the music for the show (see the Field Show Music page for your sheetmusic)
- Learn Pep Music
- Water bottle, lunch and two or more non-messy, nutritious snacks
- Sun Protection (Sun Screen is a must, Hat, Sunglasses, etc.)
- Instrument and Music
- Comfortable shoes to march in (No Flip Flops!) Tennis shoes, athletic shoes HIGHLY recommended. Make sure they are comfortable!
- Appropriate clothing for different weather conditions (We will be marching in the morning and afternoon. Prepare for foggy and sunny weather.)
