You are all invited to join our next DPIM Band Boosters board meeting which will be held at the Dos Pueblos Greek Theater this Wednesday, August 11, at 5:30p.

Please consider volunteering to be part of the DPIM Band Booster Board to make your student's experience in the music program to be one they will never forget. We desperately need new parents to volunteer for these open positions. 

No experience is needed, just a willingness to learn.

Here is a list of available positions for the 2021/22 DPHS Band Booster Board:
  • Vice President of Logistics (Contracts) - Good with contracts? The VP of logistics is responsible for negotiating and managing contracts with instructors and other contractors who provide services for the program. Fills in for president if necessary
  • Vice President of Fundraising - The important job of raising money for our music program. Leads and oversees all fundraising efforts by the board. 
  • Recording Secretary - Takes minutes, prepares agenda in coordination with president and director, and keeps track of bylaws, minutes and documents.
  • Orchestra Liaison - Acts as an advocate for the orchestra by attending our monthly meetings and supporting the orchestra and band director at performances.
  • Jazz Band Liaison - The main job of jazz band liaison is to organize and oversee the annual DP Jazz Festival event (a large fundraising event), typically held in March every year. This also includes being the contact person for the jazz combo to help them perform at school and in the community.
We need your help! The program cannot run without it. Give your students the year they missed by volunteering to be part of the Board to make it happen!
