Two big changes to the Marching Band schedule:
The big football game against Santa Barbara High has been moved to Saturday, October 28th. We will leave the Simi Valley Comp early and go straight to the football game to play pep music for our team. Oxnard has changed their comp date again, they moved to Nov.11 so we will do 2 comps in one day again. It will likely be Moorpark in the morning, and Oxnard in the afternoon. The good news is that now there will be no comp on Saturday, Nov.4 - the day of DP's Homecoming dance. Updated schedule: Friday, August 25 Home game - DP vs. San Juan Hills Friday, September 1 Home game - DP vs. Cabrillo Thursday, September 28 Home game - DP vs. Hueneme Friday, October 6 Home game - DP vs. Ventura Fri-Sun, October 20-22 Competition- Las Vegas Saturday, October 28 Competition- Simi Valley Saturday, October 28 Away game at Santa Barbara High School Friday, November 3 Homecoming game - DP vs. San Marcos Thursday, November 11 Competition - Moorpark Thursday, November 11 Competition - Oxnard Saturday, November 18 Championships
