Concert Band

The Dos Pueblos Concert Band provides an opportunity for instrumental music students to learn many different aspects of music ranging from classical traditional pieces to modern contemporary compositions. Students are encouraged to play the instrument they are most skilled at, however there may be an opportunity to switch and learn a new instrument needed in the ensemble such as: oboe, bassoon, French horn, or tuba.  The Dos Pueblos Concert Band includes students who have played in the marching band, the jazz band, orchestra, solo musicians, and more.  A minimum skill level of ability to play grade 2 concert band music is required.

Concert Band travels to one festival every spring!  In 2024 they traveled to Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo to participate in their festival and in 2023 Concert Band and orchestra traveled to Disneyland!  Other past performances include a 2020 Carnegie Hall performance!
