The 2025 Dos Pueblos Jazz Festival was an unforgettable night of incredible music, marking our 55th year of celebrating jazz excellence. Audiences were treated to outstanding performances, including a special appearance by Grammy-nominated drummer Steve Moretti, known for his exceptional work across jazz, pop, and classical music.
We are grateful to all the talented musicians, dedicated volunteers, and enthusiastic attendees who made this event such a success. Your passion for jazz keeps this tradition alive and thriving!

2025 DP Jazz Festival Headliner
Steve Moretti
Drummer/percussionist/producer Steve Moretti is a two-time Grammy® Award nominee, Juno nominee and winner of two Telly Awards. Steve has established himself as one of the most sought-after drummers on the international stage and recording studio. Steve has had an extensive recording career, playing on over 40 nationally released recordings, and made his movie debut playing live in the 2014 Clint Eastwood film, “Jersey Boys.” Because of his musical versatility, he has performed with artists from the likes of Josh Groban, Michael McDonald, Kenny Loggins, Rosemary Clooney, The Pointer Sisters, Kandi Burruss, Michael Brecker, Michael McDonald, Joe Henderson, and many others.
Another facet of Steve’s career is his production company, Morettiman Music. He maintains a busy schedule recording drums, editing, mixing, and mastering projects for clients worldwide from his studio. Additionally, he records various live concerts, some of which have been featured on NPR’s “Performance Today.” His extensive and diverse range of projects includes producing music for the nationally televised PBS special “A Grand Mercer Christmas,” as well as recordings for pop singer Bailey Coates, Joshua Neal, hip-hop artist Floco Torres, soprano Leah Partridge, violinist Amy Schwartz Moretti, The Ehnes String Quartet, and two CityMusic Cleveland recordings. Steve's most recent endeavor is producing the London Symphony Orchestra for Navona Records, released on May 10, 2024. This project showcases the musical compositions of Christopher Allen Schmitz, including a Violin Concerto featuring Amy Schwartz Moretti and his inaugural Symphony conducted by Stefan Sanderling.
